Vertrel SFR for Defluxing No-Clean PCBs
No-clean fluxes are a sub-set of PCB cleaning that requires special consideration. Most no-clean fluxes are more difficult to clean than common oils, rosin-based fluxes and pastes. Likewise, lead-free formulations that use higher temperatures can also become a challenge to clean. These contaminates require a engineered synthetic fluid with aggressive solvency yet safe for the other PCB components.
Miller-Stephenson offers several new formulations along with proven solvents that are strong candidates for replacing nPB in these applications.
Vertrel MCA Plus
Vertrel MCA Plus is the more aggressive analog of the standard Vertrel MCA. MCA Plus offers enhanced cleaning power and carrier properties.
Vertrel SFR
Engineered to handle those difficult-to-remove high temperature fluxes used in lead-free and no-clean solders. It has excellent solvency power for a wide range of soils including ionics.
Vertrel SMT
Engineered to provide unmatched performance in defluxing, precision metal cleaning and removal of rosin, oils, and ionic contaminates. Low global warming potential and VOC.
